Who runs this site
The Masked Founder runs themaskedfounder.com. The founder writes under a pen name. For anything about your data, email admin@themaskedfounder.com. A real person reads it.
What we collect, and why
1. Analytics
We use two analytics tools to see how people use the site: Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel. They use cookies and collect things like the pages you visit, the buttons you click, your rough location, and your device type. We use this to understand what content helps people and what falls flat. Meta may also use its pixel data to show you our content on its platforms, as described in its own policies.
2. The email list
If you type your email into a signup box, we store that email so we can send you the drops you asked for. That is the only thing we use it for. Every email we send has a way to unsubscribe. We do not sell or rent your email to anyone.
3. The contact form
If you request a call, we store what you send: your name, your email, your message, and your IP address (that last one helps us block spam). We use it to reply to you and for nothing else.
Where it lives
Your data sits with the services that run this site: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (our database), Resend (our email sender), Google (analytics), and Meta (the pixel). Each of them has its own privacy policy and handles data under its own safeguards. Our host also keeps standard security logs, which include IP addresses.
Your choices
- Analytics cookies: you can block them with your browser settings or a cookie-blocking extension, and the site still works.
- Email: unsubscribe with one click in any email, or write to us and we take you off the list.
- See or delete your data: email admin@themaskedfounder.com and we will show you what we have, fix it, or delete it. We answer within 30 days.
What we never do, and one honest note
- We never sell your personal information for money.
- We share your data only with the services listed above that run this site. We also share it with Meta: its pixel may use what it collects to show you our content on Meta’s own platforms. Some US state privacy laws call that “sharing” for advertising. You can stop it by blocking analytics cookies (see “Your choices” above).
- We never knowingly collect data from children under 13. This site is for adults building businesses.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top. A big change gets called out to the email list.
